Rith 2012

Ghalc muid páirt i Rith 2012 ar an 16ú de Márta. Is rás timpeall na tíre ar son poiblíochta na Gaeilge é. Bhí sé ag cur báistí ag an am, ach ba chuma linn! Bhí an spóirt agus spraoi againn agus bhí na sceallóga ó Supermacs go hálainn ar an turas abhaile!

We took part in Rith 2012 on the 16th of March. Rith is a run through Ireland to promote the Irish language. It rained while we ran but we didn’t care, we had a great time anyway. The chips on the way home were a welcome treat;-) Our picture made it into the Galway Advertiser the week after the run!

Sacraimint na hAithrí / First Confession 2012.

Ar an 28ú lá Márta fuair Tiernan agus Lorna, Joseph agus Megan as Gortskehy NS  Sacraimint na hAithrí i gCarras. Míle buíochas Fr. Mike don deasghnáth álainn agus agus Sandy Hession don ceol álainn.

On Wednesday the 28th of March Tiernan Godwin along with three pupils from Gortskehy NS in Carras Church. Many thanks to Fr. Mike and Sandy Hession for the lovely ceremony and music. Tiernan feels ten stone lighter free of his sins today 😉

Maith thú Tiernan agus Nóra fresin, rinne sibh An Gníomh Dóláis go hiontach ar fad. Táimíd an bhródúil as sibh.

Well done to Tiernan and to Nóra who performed An Gníomh Dóláis excellently – we are very proud of you!
