Making A Volcano

Tomorrow as its science week, we are making volcanos!!!!!!

See some of these links to get an idea of what we will need to do (aside of clean up a big mess after 😉 )

UPDATE!!! Volcano made and erupted!!! We used baking powder, clay, food colouring and vinegar to create mini eruptions.

First we made the volcano, then we stuffed it with paper and added the baking powder and food colouring. next we added the vinegar and made it erupt. The reaction between the vinegar and baking powder even added the bubbles and sound effects you see in real volcanos.

Cá bhfuil mo ubh Chásca???

Ar an Aoine tháinig an coinín Cásca go dtí ár scoil agus chuir sé a lán uibheacha i bhfolach timpeall an scoil. Bhí an spóirt agus spraoi againn ag cúrdach iad!

On Friday the Easter bunny came to our school and hid alot of eggs around the school. We had a great time looking for them!

Thank you to Mrs. Quinn. Mrs. Hayde, Mrs Keavney and Mrs. Hession for all their help!
